Self taught artist. Born in 1952 in Barking, Essex. Trained as a dancer. First job, at sixteen, was in the chorus, at the Princess Theatre, Torquay. The theatrical life was not for me, and so I went from job to job, painting and drawing in my spare time.
Let`s skip a few years!
Moved to Cornwall and opened a small gallery with a friend. Am now working from home, still in Cornwall. When I`m not in the studio I spend most of the time in my woodland garden, where I can indulge my passions for ferns, bamboo, and wild birds.
